Yay =]

Thank you, [info]sapphire_child!!!

Click to go to the story.

Characters: Charlie/Desmond. As in slash. Mentions of Claire and Penny.
Rating: R
Setting: Sometime after Catch 22 but before Greatest Hits.
Disclaimer: Nope. I own nothing.
Summary: Their relationship has become even more complex.

Note: Not only is this my first R fic, but it’s also my first slash fic. Yeah, kids these days. I wrote it in about…hmm…an hour? So yeah. It’s like, a page and a couple paragraphs in Word. Right now, it’s looking to be just as it is. But if I feel inspired to continue it, I will. Also - the title is a reference to my line in the second paragraph, if you don’t catch that. It’s kind of an awkward title if you don’t get the (slightly raunchy) meaning of it.

So I didn't watch the last ten minutes of C22. It's the episode that makes me want to slap Desmond and Kate's annoying. I got through most of it though.

But my purpose with posting so soon after another entry is for a funny story.

So I was playing tennis with Sara, David, and Natalie. And Nat was on my side of the court and Sara and David were playing on the other side. Doubles, basically.

Nat is pretty bad at tennis. And we were losing. So I was jokingly making fun of her the whole time. And she finally was like:

"I'm sorry! I'm just really bad at ping-pong!"

I just stared at her for a second and then, like, died a little inside. Sara and David heard nothing so they were like "..."

And then I was like: "Well, um, try the right game. That could help."

And then she turned bright red. It was the funniest thing that happened all weekend.

The Jack/Sawyer ping-pong scene in C22 just reminded me of that =]

And then I continued to make fun of her and she got mad and hurled a tennis ball at me. I had this large welt thing on my leg the rest of the day. Good times.

Who plays tennis in the winter, anyway?!!

So I got S3 for my birthday.

And I'm watching Catch-22 and then Expose.

I don't know why I'm watching Expose.

It just sounds entertaining right now.

I can't believe I finally got this season...I was all "Nooo never it was terrible."

Bye!

Kahana
Part One/???

Characters: (Part One) Charlie, Desmond, Sayid, Claire, Hurley, Charlotte, Daniel, Frank, Jack, Locke.
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I own nothing. As usual.
Summary: Charlie gets a spot on the helicopter and goes to the Freighter - the Kahana - along with Desmond, Sayid, and Frank.

Note: I really don’t know how long this will be, considering Desmond and Sayid haven’t left the Freighter yet. But this basically explores the possibility of Charlie being with them during that time.

=D

I'm writing again! Geez, that was a long break...(sarcasm.)

And I actually have two stories I'm going to start. One is a sequel to Come Back And Haunt Me, for the [info]charlielives challenge.

And the other one is just for fun that'll probably be a multi-part story. Thanks [info]alixzin!!! You know, I thought of doing that but I just forgot about it until you reminded me with you comment. I'll probably start it tonight =]

In other news, lunch with the girls was fun.

A sugarglider peed on me.

Stephanie's house is a fucking zoo.

And I held her rats...you know...I like to think that I'm not a girly-girl...but when I have rats crawling on me...it does result in me screaming. But they weren't so bad.

Just watched Silence of the Lambs with my mum.

*adds moths, basements, and creepy little old men to list of phobias*

Great movie though =D

If they were to ever do a remake...Michael Emerson should be Hannibal...he would be perfect. Even though I love Anthony Hopkins.

Hmmm just a slightly gross movie....just a bit...

I don't get cannibalism. At all. Even if I was starving I just...wouldn't...

But hey, we all have our issues.

I'm going to go read some Ernest Hemingway (blagh) and go to bed.

I got cut off today. I hate getting cut off. I had to slam on my breaks, which just pissed off the guy behind me. And then the guy that cut me off (in this ugly rusty Ford) just kept on going like nothing even happened.

And I had a very delayed reaction. Ten seconds passed, and THEN I started slamming on my horn.

It was raining, too. That didn't really help. I do love rain. But it wasn't warm rain (Like in, say, Florida.) It was cold rain. Ugh.

It's just been miserable lately :-/

I bailed out of going to Scott's gig. I just...urgh. They were playing with Matt's band - A Day In The Making. I talked to Matt about it later, and he was like:

"You weren't there?!"
"...Uh...no...sorry..."
"We played Wonderwall..."

I was angry at myself. All my friends know that's like my favorite song on the face of the Earth. And my birthday is on Sunday, so they were put it on their set because they thought I would be there and they knew I loved it so much. I'm an idiot. =[

But they did tape it!

I just...urggh. It's been a weird week. I had a hate/love relationship with the schedule we were on. Even though I had an ENTIRE morning to get to classes, I was almost late every single time. It ended in me speeding down 741, shoving a bagel down my throat, and thinking: "Do I have time to go to Starbucks? No...I don't...class starts in two minutes..."

Normal schedule next week.

I'm going to go eat something.

I've been incredibly uninspired lately.

Watching America's Next Top Model really isn't helping.

I'm even considering starting an original novel. After reading The Green Mile writing something of my own just seems really appealing. That book completely mesmerized me with it's awesomeness.

But I still want to do fanfiction :-/

Bunnies?

You know...those story ideas that you think are awesome but have no drive to actually write?

I like those =]

Getting out of the school parking lot is like driving in New York City or Chicago.

It's just not a good thing.

I hated driving in both of those cities =[ I thought I was going to die.

Anyway, in Fairmont's parking lot you have a ton of irritable teenagers who are eager to get home and get into trouble as students do. All of these teenagers, in vehicles, in one parking lot...it's just a disaster. This one guy finally lost it and was just ATTACKING this horn.

I gave him a "..." look and he finally stopped. And some chick's car was making these horrendous sounds and I thought it was going to explode.

And when I was driving on the main roads, I saw someone with a ton of Darwin bumper stickers and I was interested to see who this person was. So I was speeding and trying to drive up next to him.

Do not do this. It's dangerous.

And I didn't even know who the kid was...

So Stephanie, Ron and I were watching The Green Mile....again. It's pretty much my new favorite book if you haven't caught on. The movie is very good, too.

And they're idiots.

Ron: (during one of the many scenes where Paul is dealing with his infection) I used to have a urinary tract infection...
Stephanie: ...Oh my God...
Me: *evenly* Did a very large black man help you?
Stephanie: ... *stares at me and bursts out laughing*

Stephanie: What would you do if your name was Percy? (referring to one of the characters.)
Ron: If my name was Percy, I'd be watching Without A Paddle!
Stephanie: Oh. Too bad your name isn't Percy.

Me: *randomly* I love Dean.
Stephanie: ...Oh. Ok.
Me: You just want to grab him and...*does weird thing with arms that is meant to look affectionate*
Stephanie: *laughs and imitates arm movements* Strangle him?
Me: No, I -  ...never mind.

Stephanie: What happens to him after everything? In the book?
Me: Who, Dean?
Stephanie: ...No...Percy...not everything is about Dean.
Me: Oh, well, Dean...Percy...
Stephanie: *snicker*
Me: Shut up. Dean, he - PERCY. Damn it.

Ron: *as Del is burning to death* So if the guards like him so much why don't they let John Coffey bring him back to life?!
Me: Because it doesn't work that way...
Ron: I'm just saying! If they like him why don't they let John bring him back to life?!
*later when they show Del's charred body*
Stephanie: ...I don't think they want that coming back to life...

*when Jack is crying in the control room*
Stephanie: Jack doesn't even know what everyone is crying about!
Me: I know! He doesn't know who John is!
Stephanie: Oh God. That's annoying.
Me: He just wants to be like everybody else.

Character in the movie: "I hope he knows the imps in hell are lurking and the devil is waiting!"
Stephanie: *jokingly* He just stole a purse!

Me: *referring to Del* ...Awww! I'd hug him if he wasn't a rapist!

Ron: *mocking John* I helpeded Del's mouse Mr. Jingle. I takeded it back. Boss Percy bad. Mr. Jingle gonna be a circus mouse, boss.
Me: Oh my God. You're going to hell.

Character in Movie: "So what happens if you don't wet the sponge?"
Ron: OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO KILL DEL BY NOT WETTING THE SPONGE.
Me: You learn fast.

Good times.

So I'm watching Dominic on Jay Leno. Commercial break!

The hair isn't bad. It looks fine. I don't know why I hated it before. It's cute.

But this spider thing...ahhhg...

"Yeah we don't know how poisonous it is or if it jumps..." o_o

Try to NOT die.

(I hate spiders with a burning passion. So the description of it being bigger than a dinner plate...wtf?? I can't stand the ones the size of my fingertip.)

It's always nice to see Dominic on these shows =]

ETA: LMAO...Mr. T...

I'm going to bed now.

I just realized my birthday is on Sunday. I thought it was further away.

Seventeen feels and sounds old.

I have to make lunch reservations today >_<

Friends and I are going to Mongolian Grill on Saturday and the family is going to P.F. Changs on Sunday.

Too much Asian food! Luckily it's delicious.

I have to go pick up Kinjal now so she can give me some of her sweet Indian tea and make fun of the music I listen to.

Date of Execution

Characters: Paul, Brutus, mentions of Dean, John Coffey, and Del.
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I do not own The Green Mile or Stephen King.

Summary:“I can’t take it anymore,” Dean tells me, wiping his eyes with the back of his sleeve. I am sitting at my duty desk, signing his transfer papers. Warden Hal has already signed them, I notice. Now I have to. I wish I didn’t…but I know E Block is too much for Dean. He’s young. With children…a wife. He should be allowed out of this while there’s still a chance. Before he has time to end up like me.

I know,” I tell him quietly, signing and pushing the paper across the desk to him with a slight smile. “Take care of yourself, Dean. Don’t let no Wild Bills wrap their wrist chains around your neck again, you got that?”

Dean actually laughs slightly and picks up the paper, glancing it over as if to assure himself that my signature is actually there. Whether he wants it to be there or not is beyond me.

It was like signing his Date of Execution.

Note: I’m stepping out of my Lost comfort zone a little. This explores Dean’s death that was briefly mentioned in the book and not mentioned at all in the movie. I always like those doomed characters.

Once again, I cry like a baby.

Del's execution wasn't as bad as it was in the book. No popping out of eyes that resembled jelly that dripped down his cheeks when the bag burned away.

Thank you God.

Coffey's execution was terrible. I couldn't help it. I started crying and my mum (who I talked into watching it with me) teared up too. But she won't admit it.

And when Paul told Dean to wipe his face off before he stood up in front of the crowd that was watching the execution...ahhh! Dean! I love Dean so much. He was just sobbing the whole time. And then Jack Van Hay in the switch room was crying too. And Brutus. And ahhg. But Dean's crying was what got me. And then Coffey won't let them put the bag over his face because he's scared of the dark! AHHH.

The guy who played Percy was PHENOMENAL. So hilarious and such a jerk. He was perfect. And the scene where he goes mad and won't talk and is all eerie and creepy before he shoots Wild Bill...wow...that was great. So creepy.

Excellent adaptation. I wish they had the scenes before the executions where the prisoners pray. And the accident where Paul sees John Coffey's ghost. Basically my only complaints.

Excellent. Makes me want to read the book again.

So my mum and brother recruited me to shovel the driveway.

So I already hate snow with a burning passion. And now I have to shovel it.

Yaaaay.

It reminds me of the time I was talked into pushing Johanna's car in Kansas because we were caught in a snow drift. It's like: "Oh...there is a snow related problem...lets make Hannah the snow-phobic do it."

I'm so moving to Florida.
